Kodandaram accuses police of sabotaging Telangana March

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Sunday accused the State Government of creating hurdles and panic-like situation to sabotage the Telangana March.

Talking to reporters here, Kodandaram appealed to the activists to observe restrain. He accused the police, especially Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy, of deliberately provoking the Telangana activists to thwart the March. However, he said that the activists would not return empty handed from the March and the strategy to intensify the statehood agitation would be finalised and announced during the same.

TPJAC Co-Convenor M Lakshmaiah also accused the government of suppressing the statehood agitation by resorting to illegal arrests and creating hurdles for the activists who wanted to peacefully participate in the Telangana March at Necklace Road. (INN)
