New Delhi, November 30: BJP today described former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda, accused of money laundering and amassing disproportionate assets, as “just an actor in a movie on corruption” and said its “directors and producers” should be found out.
“Koda is just an actor. The director and producers of the film on corruption should be found out. His political linakges in the entire episode should be probed,” BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.
Naqvi said the arrest of Koda alone in the case was not enough as those who “directed and sponsored” him are still out of the net.
“We can’t fight corruption till Koda’s other associates are found,” he said.
Koda was today arrested by Jharkhand Vigilance Department, nearly two months after a case was registered against him in a multi-crore hawala scam.
