Kobad Ghandy wants medical records

New Delhi, January 22: Top Maoist leader Kobad Ghandy today moved a Delhi court seeking records relating to his medical examination at AIIMS.

Ghandy, who was produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja, also sought a direction to Tihar Jail authorities to provide him with the table and chair.

The court, taking his applications into consideration, directed the jail authorities of Tihar, where he is lodged at present, to consider his plea as per the jail manuals.

Ghandy had moved the similar plea for table and chair on January eight. The court had then directed the jail authorities to consider his plea as per rules.

In a fresh plea, he submitted he had still not been provided with the facilities. He claimed he required chair and table as he was suffering from arthritis.
