NEW DELHI: Baroda-based cricketer Irfan Pathan breaks silence on actress Zaira Wasim’s molestation controversy by expressing his disappointment over the fact that people in India discuss issues like nationalism and religion except for important things like women’s safety and security.

The Dangal actress made a shocking revelation while traveling in Vistara flight bound from Delhi to Mumbai.
The 17-year-old actor uploaded a video on Instagram describing the horrific molestation act.
In the words of Zaira, “I was sure of it. He kept nudging my shoulder and continued to move his foot up and down my back and neck. This is terrible. No one will help us if we don’t decide to help ourselves.”
Air Vistara airline has apologized to Zaira and has launched an investigation into the matter.
“We have zero tolerance for such behaviour. We are carrying out a detailed investigation of the incident which apparently involved a male passenger on the flight,” the statement from Air Vistara read.
