New Delhi: Former cricketer and Rajya Sabha member Sachin Tendulkar, who recently underwent knee surgery, today attended the proceedings of the Upper House in the pre-lunch period.
He was seen walking with a stick and having black braces on his left leg. He underwent a surgery on his left knee in London earlier last month.
Tendulkar, a nominated member who has at times been under attack from several members for his poor attendance in Parliament, witnessed the proceedings of the House during Zero Hour and Question Hour.
This is the first time he has attended the House in the current Monsoon Session that began on July 18.
Tendulkar had attended the last budget Session on four occasions.
