London, Dec.05 : Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has downplayed the resurgence of his side under his tutelage, insisting that he is not a genius who has introduced a new style of football.
The arrival of Klopp saw the Anfield club register seven wins and one defeat in his 11 matches of all competitions so far in this season. Whereas, Liverpool could only secure three wins out of same number of matches under the previous coach Brendan Rodgers at the start of the season.
Klopp said that they were not targeting to win the Premier League title, insisting that they just try to learn and understand more about the players, the Mirror reported.
The German further said that they are trying to make the best with the players they have currently and explained the club’s instant success as the result of putting smiles on the players’ faces. (ANI)
