KKR would full term as CM: Rajanarasimha

Mahabubnagar, November 01: Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha on Monday denied the reports appeared in a section of media that the government led by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy fell into minority and lost ground to rule the state.

Talking to media persons, the Deputy Chief Minister condemned media reports as baseless and the government has not come into minority even after the resignation of three MLAs from the Congress party. He said that the MLAs—T Rajaiah, Jupally Krishna Rao and Somarapu Satyanarayana quit the Congress party for personal reasons and the party would lose nothing due to their resignations.

Rajanarasimha said that there was no threat to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government with the quitting of MLAs and he would continue his stint. He recalled that the High Command has recently gave a pat to the Chief Minister for the efficient and effective way of dealing with striking employees of Telangana region.

The Deputy CM asked the MLAs who have quit the party to reconsider their decision. Describing Congress party as an ocean, he said that the entry or exit of individuals would not affect the party.
