Dubbing the Chief Minister as “king of robbers’, the TDP said that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was scared of the notices issued by the Supreme Court to six ministers and that was the reason why it was not placing the files relating to 26 GOs on the table of the Speaker.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Thursday along with Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy and Prathipati Pullarao, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu said that Kiran Kumar Reddy was afraid that his government would be toppled if the ruling party placed the files before the Speaker. “The government was scared that facts might come out if it placed the files pertaining to 26 controversial GOs issued by the six ministers”, he alleged.
Muddukrishnama Naidu said that the TDP has demanded that the government make the tainted ministers resign or dismiss them; place the 26 GOs on the Speaker’s table; scrap the 26 GOs immediately; recover the money lost with the GOs and so on. Besides, the government should permit the CBI to inquire into the allegations against the ministers, he said. He also charged the government with being adamant and rejecting the demands of the Opposition parties. (NSS)
