KK seeks clarity on IPS allocation

TRS MP K Kesava Rao today expressed serious concern over the delay on the part of the Centre in allocation of IPS officials to Telangana State which was formed six months ago.
Raising the issue in the Parliament, Rao sought clarity as to when these posts will be filled up. There is a need for such top level officials for the newly carved state of Telangana, he said. Kesava Rao also said that despite the formation of Telangana six months ago, the Centre is still dilly-dallying on the allocation and process of officials including those of IPS.

Replying to Rao’s query, Deputy Home Minister Kiran Rebiju said that they are yet to get information from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s office. As soon as the home ministry gets the details in this regard, it will be informed to the house, he said.(NSS)
