Apparently delighted at the huge turnout at the plenary, TRS Secretary-General and MP Kancharla Keshav Rao today showered praises on party supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for championing the cause of Telangana statehood and tiding over power crisis in a short span of time. “Impossible statehood issue became possible with persistent efforts of KCR and sacrifices of party activists for achieving Telangana State. Now the Telangana government succeeded in tiding over power crisis during Summer and the credit goes to KCR, who began water grid and lake restoration schemes”, KK said.
Keshav Rao criticized the Opposition parties for being intolerant at the TRS leadership which was keeping its promises of development and welfare. He also made a startling revelation that he had proposed KCR’s name for Chief Minister post on achieving statehood for Telangana during Cngress Core Committee meeting before he switched loyalties. “Indeed, I proposed KCR’s name for chief minister post as he is capable of steering the new State into golden Telangana to achieve a paradigm shift of development and welfare, KK asserted.
Stating that TRS means Telangana and vice versa, Keshav Rao said KCR waged a relentless fight and sacrificed for the cause of statehood. He also said the Chief Minister is inviting all people to participate in the mission to transform the State into golden Telangana – a few miles away. (NSS)
