Former CWC member Dr K Keshava Rao has made sensational remarks on Wednesday against the Congress party high command. He said that the Congress Working Committee (CWC) had discussed the issue seriously when mere 45 sarpanchs tendered their resignations in Jammu and Kashmir, but nobody discussed about the Telangana issue when 118 public representatives tendered their resignations.
Speaking to the media at his residence here on Wednesday, he said that he was facing severe mental agony with the attitude of Congress Working Committee’s negligent attitude on Telangana issue. He made it clear that there was no question of postponement of Telangana March. He said that it was true that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy had asked him to see that the Telangana March was postponed, but the Telangana protagonists will not go back on organizing Telangana March on the said date. He said that he rejected the Chief Minister’s request over phone. He said that he called on senior Minister K Jana Reddy to discuss about Telangana March only.
Keshava Rao said that the Ministers and MPs from Telangana region would extend their support to the March. He advised the Telangana Ministers to get the permission from the State Government for the March. He assured that violence will not take place if the Government had given permission to the March. He said that there was no truth that he was mediating between the State Government and Telangana Political JAC to postpone the March. He bemoaned that some were making false propaganda against him.
