KK asks partymen not to raise KVP issue

Hyderabad, February 07: Besides coming to a decision that no Telangana leader involved in the ongoing agitation on separate statehood issue should take either Cabinet or other posts, the Telangana Congress public representatives have also decided not to raise `KVP’ issue at this juncture.

Issue of TDP’s allegations against late Chief Minister YSR’s close aide and Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao has come up for discussion at the meeting held at the residence of CWC member and MP K Keshava Rao today.

The CWC member reportedly urged his party colleagues particularly MLC KR Amos not to insist for action against KVP in the present circumstances particularly after the latter’s appointment as a member of the nine-member State’s coordination committee constituted by the party high command.

The Congress leaders felt the need to have a separate committee to `counter’ the Telangana political JAC.
