KK advises govt against permission for YSRCP meeting

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) secretary general Dr K Keshava Rao has asked the state government not to give permission to the YSRCP proposed Samaikyandhra meeting to be held on October 19.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, KK said that the YSRCP meeting was definitely different from APNGOs meeting held in Hyderabad. He questioned the state government as to how it will give permission to the political meeting. He alleged that the YSRCP leaders were trying to obstruct the division of the state in the name of ‘Telugu Jaathi’ and questioned whether Telangana was not a Telugu Jaathi. He made it clear that Telangana Telugu Jaathi was different from Andhra Telugu Jaathi. He also asked the YSRCP leaders to tell where were the Telangana employees in the APNGOs agitations and said that it was not APNGOs but Seemandhra NGOs union.
He alleged that the YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was trying to rake up violence in Hyderabad and to show his political strength in the name of Samaikyandhra meeting. He said that some leaders were trying to destroy the unity of the Telangana protagonists. He said that they will not accept the conduct of Jagan meeting in Hyderabad. Demanding the centre to dismiss the Kiran Kumar Reddy government, KK said that the students’ role was very significant in Telangana movement.
He also said that Jagan, who belongs to Seemandhra region, has no right to conduct a meeting in Telangana region. (NSS)
