Mumbai, June 19: Karan Johar has finally found a title for his STEPMOM remake. The film, which is being directed by Siddharth Malhotra, will be called WE ARE FAMILY.
Karan Johar posted on the micro-blogging site twitter, “Ok guys…here goes the title of our official stepmom adaptation is “WE ARE FAMILY”…will post the release date in a few days!!”
It can be recalled that Karan Johar had asked his followers on Twitter to suggest a title. He had also promised fans that he would announce the name of the film on Twitter first. He kept his promise and announced the title recently.
WE ARE FAMILY is about a terminally ill divorcee who has to accept the new woman in her ex-husband’s life as the stepmother of her kids and the problems they face to find a common ground of understanding.
The film stars Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Kajol in lead roles. It will mainly be shot in Sydney, Australia.
