New Delhi: The 2010 flick ‘ My Name Is Khan’, starring hit pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, has clocked six years today and its director Karan Johar is celebrating it on the social media.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the 43-year-old film director shared a picture of Shah Rukh, captioning it as, “The film most special to my heart…..@iamsrk @KajolAtUN @ShibaniWrites #6YearsOfMNIK.”
Replying to Karan, the `Dilwale’ actor tweeted, “@karanjohar yeah it was a good one.Thx to the cast & crew & I especially enjoyed the shopping!! Rags & Bones & the McQueen stuff u got me.”
Actor Sidharth Malhotra wrote, “The film I started living my dream with and the best acting and film school I could go2 #6YearsOfMNIK thank u @karanjohar @iamsrk @KajolAtUN.”
Interestingly, the flick is currently the sixth highest grossing Bollywood film with a worldwide gross of 200 crores.
The film also grossed the biggest opening day in overseas, taking an estimated 170 million INR and beating the overseas opening day collections of Aamir Khan-starrer `3 Idiots`. (ANI)
