(Siasat News) Mr. Anurag Sharma, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad told that Mr. G.Kishan Reddy, MLA and State president of BJP is not the hit list of the terrorists.
He said that Bangalore police had arrested Obaidur Rahman. During the initial investigations made by the Central Crime Branch of Bangalore City police. It was revealed that Mr. G. Kishan Reddy is not on the hit list. Only two corporators of GHMC were on the hit list. He also clarified that the arrested persons didn’t survey the Defense institutions located in the city. He told that city police of Hyderabad has sent a team to Bangalore to interrogate Obaidur Rahman in Bangalore.
It was revealed that Obaidur Rahman is a student of B.Com, Anwarul-Uloom College, Hyderabad. He has friendship with Mohammed Akram of Nanded. Akram was arrested by Bangalore Police. He stayed in Hyderabad for sometime and went to Saudi Arabia. He had contacts with Obaidur Rahman on Internet from Saudi Arabia.
Mr Sharma told that elaborate security arrangements will be made in connection with Ganesh festival. Every precaution would be taken for peaceful immersion of Ganesh idols.
He said that police has been entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining security for the Bio-Diversity International conference which is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad next month
