Amberpet MLA G Kishan Reddy is most likely to get a second term as the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party.
The State-unit elections are to be held in the second week of February. However, sources say that Kishan Reddy is likely to get elected unopposed for the second term. Senior leaders including Bandaru Dattatreyya, Dr K Lakshman and Ch Vidyasagar are reportedly backing Kishan Reddy although former MLA Baddam Bal Reddy is likely to present his candidature for the post.
With the support of senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu, Kishan Reddy is most likely to get a second term as the BJP’s State-unit president, sources said. (INN)
