Strongly condemning the arrest Mandakrishna Madiga, Telangana BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy has demanded withdrawal of cases foiled against him and unconditional release of Madiga leader, who was dumped in the jail.
Kishan Reddy, in a statement, said it was unfortunate that the State government, with the help of police, was trying to stifle the voice of people who were agitating on their justified demands. He said different groups wanted to communicate their unhappiness and ire by organising peaceful protests and through other democratic means. But the State government, with its dictatorial attitude, was trying to suppress them, the BJP leader alleged.
The arrest of Manda Krishna Madiga is condemnable as he was fighting for SC classification for the last several years and the Madiga leader was arrested when he came to demand KCR to lead an all-party meeting to New Delhi in support of SC classification for meeting the Prime Minister and other national leaders, Kishan Reddy said
