BJP national general secretary Jagat Prakash here on Tuesday announced appointment of G. Kishan Reddy as Telangana BJP president.
He was speaking at BJP Telangana State Council meeting held at Balaji Gardens in Sangareddy town of Medak district.
Addressing the meeting later, Kishan Reddy, who represents Amberpet Assembly constituency in Hyderabad, said Telangana would be developed on all fronts with the help of Modi government at the Centre. He said the credit for establishing AIMS in Telangana goes to the State unit which prevailed upon the Centre to set up the super speciality hospital in the State.
The meeting was attended by several State leaders, including former Union minister and party’s national vice-president Bandaru Dattatreya, former governor Rama Rao, BJP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Dr K Laxman, Indrasena Reddy, Baddam Balreddy and others. (NSS)
