Kishan meets Pawan to join BJP poll drive

Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy today met “power star” and founder of “Jana Sena Party” Pawan Kalyan in the wake of reports that the latter may campaign in favour of BJP-TDP alliance.
During the meeting, Kishan Reddy reported to have urged Pawan Kalyan to take part in the BJP election campaigning. Responding to the request, the latter reported to have told Kishan Reddy that he would take a decision after consulting his supporters and fans.

Pawan Kalyan was on cynosure of national media for his attracting slogan “Congress Hatao and Desh Bachao” while launching Jana Sena Party. Pawan had also called on BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Delhi.

Kishan Reddy said apart from Modi, BJP national president Rajnath Singh, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and others would participate in election campaigning in Telangana as well as in Seemandhra soon.

Meanwhile, BJP national secretary and Musheerabad constituency candidate Dr K Laxman commenced his election campaigning after worshipping Lord Venkateshwara Swami at Chikkadpalli temple. He started a door-to-door campaign and met voters in the localities of Narasimhabasti, Palmuru basti, Chikkadpalli, Baghlingampalli and other areas. (NSS)
