Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy today alleged that the TRS government was neglecting repairing of roads in the twin cities.
Kishan Reddy was speaking at a dharna camp organized by the party against pathetic condition of roads and gross negligence of GHMC in taking up repair works. The party has organized the dharna at Nallakunta crossroads in protest against the government’s negligent attitude on repairing of roads.
The roads in the city are in very bad condition and causing hardship to the citizens, Kishan Reddy said, adding that the GHMC authorities were not serious about repairing roads. Pointing out that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was frequently trumpeting that the city would be transformed into a world class city “Viswanagaram”, the BJP leader said the former seems to be keen on making Hyderabad as a problem city ( Kastala nagaram), he quipped. He warned that his party would intensify the agitation if the KCR government failed to rise to the occasion and take urgent steps repair roads in the city.
