Hyderabad, May 1(NSS):- Former minister P. Shankar Rao has alleged that the State was reeling under Police aj.Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Shankar Rao described Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy as a traitor of the Dalits and a ‘Rabandu’ (Vulture) and not ‘Dalita Bandhu’ as he was titled recently. He said Dalits have distanced from the Congress after he was removed from the cabinet and the Chief Minister chose to insult the Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha. He also said the Chief Minister was alone responsible for the women and the minorities for distancing themselves away from the Congress. He said the harassment of the Owaisi
brothers resulted in the minorities deserting the Congress.
Shankar Rao said Kiran Kumar Reddy’s elevation as Chief Minister was sheer luck though he had not done any service to the party. He lamented that he was being harassed by the government over the Green Field issue, though he did not commit any mistake. He demanded that a CBI Inquiry be ordered into the matter.
He also demanded that the government order a CBI inquiry into smuggling of red sanders and the appointment of the DGP.t may be recalled that Dr Shankar Rao said brothers of Chief Minister were running red
sanders smuggling racket. His petition leveling such charges was however dismissed by the High Ccourt, for want
