TDP has alleged that administration has come to a stand still in the state and demanded imposition of President’s rule.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, party senior leaders Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy and Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that corruption was rampant in the State as Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was continuing late chief minister Rajasekhara Reddy’s (Alibaba) 45 thieves in his cabinet. They said it was unfortunate that such a government was being allowed to continue in power.
Ridiculing the claim of the Congress party that theirs was a farmer friendly government, the TDP leaders said apart from fake seeds and fake fertilizers, farmers got nothing else from the government. They also charged the government with distributing Rs 1,000 every month to Congress workers calling them model farmers. They said farmers would have been benefited if they were given that money. They also alleged that three Congress Chief Ministers have placed a financial burden of Rs 15,000 crores by way of electricity charges.
It was unfortunate that the government had not as much interest on the agriculture policy as it had on the excise policy. They questioned if the government could be said in existence after a situation arose when the Governor had to go to Delhi and complain about it.
