Hyderabad, March 27: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today condoled the death of freedom fighter and former parliamentarian Bommagani Dharmabhiksham.
Recalling his services to the poor, downtrodden and working class, particularly the toddy tappers, Reddy said Dharmabhiksham was acclaimed as the best parliamentarian and earned accolades both in the Assembly and Parliament.
The demise of Dharmabhiksham is an irreparable loss not only to the state but also to the poor and working class, he said.
The Chief Minister also conveyed his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family members.
The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to accord Dharmabhiksham funeral with Police Honours as a mark of respect.
The freedom fighter died of prolonged illness at a private hospital here last evening.
