Kiran Kumar Reddy sworn in as Chief Minister

Hyderabad, Novermber 26: Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been sworn in as the 16th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh by the State Governor, Mr E.S.L. Narasimhan on the lawn of Raj Bhawan. The oath taking ceremony ended in just five minutes as the ministers were not administered oath.

Union observers Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mr Veerappa Moily attended the function as chief guests.

The new chief minister Mr. N Kiran Kumar Reddy will reach Delhi on November 26 and finalize the list of cabinet ministers after meeting Sonia Gandhi.

Mr Veerappa Moily told that a leader from Telangana will be made deputy chief Minister this time.

After assuming office, beginning his first official visit, Mr Reddy drove to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences to call on patients admitted in the Rajiv Arogyasri ward.

Later on arriving at Raj Bhawan he called on Mr. Veerappa Moily and Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Ex chief minister Mr. K Rosaiah also attended the function. He congratulated Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy after oath taking ceremony.
