The announcement of CWC for the formation of separate Telangana State has given blow to TRS and TDP but at the same time the ruling Congress Party in the State is also facing a peculiar situation. The leaders of major political parties got divided on regional basis setting aside their political associations. Despite its decision to bifurcate the State, Congress has not been able to get stability in the ten districts of Telangana region. It is facing public wrath in 13 districts of Seema Andhra area.
Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. has been anti-Telangana right from the beginning. Now he is revolting against Congress Party. One of the reasons is that many of the leaders of Seema Andhra think that there is a ray of hope in Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy. They also that Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy can only lead the supporters of Seema Andhra region.
It may be noted that on the occasion of Telugu language day held on Thursday, Mr.Kiran Kumar Reddy in his speech had openly opposed the bifurcation of the State. He also did not hesitate to criticize Congress High Command in a mild way. Seema Andhra leaders belonging to Congress Party are disappointed about their winning the elections in 2014. These leaders have hinted at the formation of a new party. Sources close to Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy told that Center will not proceed with the formation of Telangana State. Meanwhile, some Congress leaders opined that the integrity of Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy has become suspicious. The Central leaders think that by opposing the decision of CWC, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is making an attempt to emerge as the champion of Seema Andhra. Mr. Reddy does not want to retire as the last C.M. of integrated A.P. He would prefer to form a new party after relinquishing charge as C.M. YSRCP is already supporting Seema Andhra agitation. If Mr. Reddy joins Seema Andhra supporters, it may create a problem for TDP. In this case TDP will be at a loss.
