Kiran Kumar Reddy to discuss T-report in Delhi

Hyderabad, January 20: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, will be discussing with senior Congress leaders the political situation in the state when he travels to Delhi on Thursday to attend the National Development Council meet to be held on Friday.

He will apprise senior leaders on the situation following the submission of the report on state bifurcation by the Justice Srikrishna committee.

The Chief Minister will also meet the members of the Congress core committee and give them his opinion on the Srikrishna committee recommendations.

The core committee members are scheduled to meet the Congress MPs from Seema-Andhra region on Thursday which will be followed by a meeting with the MPs from Telangana the next day.

Sources said the Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy will urge the core committee to persuade leaders from both the regions to help run the State Budget Session smoothly.

The Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, will also meet the Union railway minister, Ms Mamata Banerjee, during his stay in Delhi to seek more trains and projects for Andhra Pradesh in the coming Railway Budget.
