Former Minister of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabber alleged that Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy is functioning as the C.M. of Seema Andhra Region. Mr. Reddy had promised that he would visit Seema Andhra region to review seriously the political situation of the region and he had also assured that he would accept any decision made by AICC Chief, Ms. Sonia Gandhi. The decision to form a separate State for Telangana was already taken on 9th December 2009. On the objections raised by the leaders of Seema Andhra, consultations were made with them for the past four years. Sri Krishna Committee was constituted. In a meeting of CWC, a decision was taken to form separate Telangana State. The allies of UPA-II also accepted the stand taken by Congress Party whereas C.M. is claiming that only Congress Party has taken this decision not the Central Govt. He questioned him whether P.M. , Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are not Congress leaders?. He told that by expressing apprehensions, C.M. is trying to incite the people of both the region. He also alleged the ministers belonging to Seema Andhra Region that they are supporting the statement of Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy which tantamount to hurting the sentiments of people of Telangana.
He told that it is not appropriate for the C.M. to oppose the decision of CWC and to hurt the sentiments of people of Telangana . He further told that all those who are born in Telangana are the natives of Telangana. They need not go from Telangana. The apprehension of the C.M. about the shortage of electricity is baseless. He pointed out that in the past, he served the state as Energy Minister and said that Telangana has many Coal Mines and there are all the possibilities of production of surplus Electricity by using coal.
