Former minister P Vishwaroop has said he has no belief on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy with regard to his promise of keeping the State united.
Speaking to the media after calling on YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the NIMS, where he was shifted by police from his fast camp, he said the Centre was not going to retrace its step on the division of the State. He said the Congress was in a dilemma whether to introduce a resolution in the Assembly or not.
The former minister said as the YSRCP was the only party that was fighting for united Andhra Pradesh, he has decided to join the YSRCP. He also alleged that ministers from the Seemandhra region were trying to mislead the people only to continue in their present positions saying that they would defeat the T resolution in the Assembly. It may be recalled that Vishwaroop announced that he would join the YSRCP on October 18. (NSS)
