New Delhi, March 07: Maker of memory products, Kingston has released its Data Traveler 310 USB Flash Drive. The drive comes with large memory capacity of 256GB.
The Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company claims that this version is far more superior to its forerunner, Kingston 300.
The device has faster reading and writing capacities.
In the list of what it offers is a total storing capacity of 54 DVDs, a reading speed of 25 MB per second and a writing speed of 12 MB per second.
Combined together it gives it an edge over the DT 310 and DT 300. It also comes with Password Traveler software, which acts as a security measure for the device.
The drive can work in any operating system environment. But, the Password Traveler software works only on Windows Platform.
Data Traveler 310 is also enabled with Windows ReadyBoost feature, which can be used for storing additional temporary memory.
This miniature portable HDD comes at price of Rs. 48,380.
However, it is a device which serves the purpose for the business tycoons who are on a constant move. But since it is a pricy product, it won’t be able to attract many.
