Hyderabad, April 09: Though the untimely rains damaged the mango crops recently, the remaining mangoes have arrived in Hyderbad.
But as the arrivals were lesser than expected, the prices have shot up by almost 50 per cent over last year.
This despite the fact that the mangoes are not of the highest quality.
But the irrepressible mango lovers rushed to the Gaddi Annaram Market to choose the best mangoes among those that arrived.
They were ready to even shell out even a whopping Rs 150 to Rs 200 per kilogram in order to get a bite of their favorite fruit.
