Chandrasekhar, Election Officer of the Kadapa DCCB election, who was allegedly kidnapped suddenly surfaced in the Collector’s bungalow on Wednesday.
Talking to the media on the occasion, he said some persons told him that ministers had summoned him and had taken him away.
He said he was kidnapped from his office on Tuesday night. “First four persons came to me and said the MLA was calling me. After taking me to the RIMS hospital, they said ministers wanted to see me. They made me board a vehicle stating that I would be sent back in five minutes. But they kept shifting me from one vehicle to the other. They took me to a field near Madanapalle. The entire night we spent there. They did not reply to my repeated question of why I was kidnapped in the morning, they gave me a phone after repeated requests to call my family members. At 10 am on Wednesday, I was left at Mulakala Cheruvu” he told a TV channel in an interview. He also said that he had given a detailed account to the Collector Chandrasekhar, who complained to police at Mulakalacheruvu. He also lodged a complaint about his kidnap to the one town police in Kadapa. (NSS)
