Hyderabad, December 8: In an incident occurred at Bingidoddi village of Aiza mandal in Mahaboobnagar district a three year old kid fell into a 200 feet deep abandoned borewell but the district administration and police after 6 hours of successful effort managed to rescue the boy safely. According to details 3 year old Tirumalesh who was playing near his house accidentally fell into an open borewell at nearly 3:30 pm.
Local people informed police and the police immediately started rescue operations.
Villagers soon collected at the site and as news spread minister DK Aruna, district collector Purushotham Reddy, deputy superintendent of police Mahesh and other officials rushed to the spot.
The rescuers deployed three proclainers to dig up a 25feet pit about 15 feet away and parallel to the borewell. According to government sources the boy was rescued around 10.27 p.m. Though looking weak Tirumalesh is said to be in stable condition.
