Hyderabad, April 22: A kid fell into pit water and died under Golconda police station limits.
Police sources said that 6 year old Akhil Kumar who was a student fell into a pit of under construction building and died.
The construction work of a six storied building was on in Alhamra colony. A pit was dug for the installation of lift. A swimming pool is situated near the building where Kumar saw the children swimming. He expressed his wish to swim to his mother. Later he tried to swim in the water collected in the pit of under construction building and drowned.
Golconda Sub inspector Yousuf told that Kumar’s father Srinivas hails from Mahboob Nagar district and he stays here with his father-in-law. Srinu’s father-in-law is said to be the watchman of the building.
