Khed result reflects KCR’s governance: Harish

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said the recent Narayankhed bypoll result mirrored the people’s faith in the ruling party for its much-lauded welfare schemes and Good Governance of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The welfare schemes and developmental programs are two eyes of the TRS government, he claimed.

Talking to mediapersons at TRS Legislature Party office here along with M Bhupal Reddy, Harish Rao asserted that he would relentlessly strive for developing the Narayankhed segment. Earlier, Bhupal Reddy was administered oath of office by Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary on the Assembly premises in the presence Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy and MLAs.

Harish Rao further alleged that the previous governments had wantonly failed to develop the Narayankhed segment and pocketed the funds ignoring the plight of the people.  He reiterated that the TRS election manifesto will be implemented in to to for development of the segment that was lagging far behind in every sector. “Every promise made during election campaigning will be fulfilled”, he said. “Narayankhed result broke all other records by witnessing the voter turnout of 83 per cent. The government will implement a special package to develop this segment in all sectors, he said. The Opposition parties, which bit the dust in the poll battle field should learn a lesson instead of making a hue and cry, Harish suggested. KCR was trying to make Telangana a number one State in the country, he added. (NSS)
