Khamoshi; Ranbir-Katrina’s last film together?

Mumbai, March 25: Believe it or not, but Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are apparently set to dazzle the silver screen for the last time in near future.

According to the latest buzz, the sizzling jodi has mutually agreed to do only one more film together for now, and it is Anurag Basu’s ‘Khamoshi’ where Ranbir would be playing a deaf-and-mute role and Katrina would be seen portraying a very influential and powerful character.

Reports reveal that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali had to let go off Kat for his film starring Ranbir because the actress could only do one of two projects with the Kapoor scion. So Imtiaz and Anurag mutually decided that ‘Khamoshi’ needs Katrina more. And that’s not all, in return of the favour, Anurag has committed to Imtiaz the first right to Ranbir’s dates. What understanding!

While Kat will soon be seen in the role of a powerful woman as a politician in ‘Raajneeti’, also starring Ranbir, reports reveal that the actress’ role in Anurag Basu’s ‘Kamoshi’ is similar to Shabana Azmi’s opposite a blind Naseeruddin Shah in Sai Paranjpye’s ‘Sparsh’.

“Katrina is a very sensitive actress. So far we haven’t really seen her dramatic worth. This happens with very beautiful actresses,” says Anurag.

And talking about Ranbir-Katrina’s much-talked about onscreen chemistry, Anurag said, “They are magical together. But my film will create a different magic.”
