While the Opposition Congress and Telangana TDP MLAs were joining the ruling TRS in Telangana for political fortunes, the YSR Congress Party MLAs in Andhra Pradesh were changing loyalties and joining the TDP for similar reasons.
In the latest development, Khammam MLA of Congress party Puvvada Ajay Kumar is all set to join the TRS. Sources in political circles say that Puvvada is likely to embrace the TRS just before the party plenary at Khammam in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on April 27. The TRS party is organizing party’s plenary at Khammam where bye-election is scheduled to be held on May 16 for Palair Assembly constituency.
Meanwhile, Congress CLP leader K Jana Reddy reportedly spoke with Puvvada and asked him to re-consider his decision. Puvvada Ajay Kumar today held a meeting with his supporters and discussed about his political decision. (NSS)
