Hyderabad, April 09: The 314th Khalsa Saajna Divas (Khalsa Panth Foundation Day Baisakhi celebrations) will be organized on a grand scale by Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet here from April 12 to 14.
The Sadh Sangat of Ameerpet is gearing up to organize the celebrations in a befitting manner. Two major important events — ”Vishaal Deewan” (mass congregation) and ”Nagar Keertan” (holy procession) will be held on April 13. ”Amrit Sanchaar or Amrit Paan (holy baptism)” will be held on April 12 and ”rein sabai keertan darbar on April 14. Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet will organise ”Vishaal Deewan” (Mass Congregation), the main attraction of the celebrations at Sri Guru Gobind Singhji Play Grounds, Ameerpet, from 11 am to 4 pm in which over 25,000 to 30,000 Sikh devotees and others will converge at the program.
Prabhandak Committee president S. Amarjeet Singh, general secretary S. Surender Singh, vice-president S Sulakshan SIngh and joint secretary S Bhagender Singh said the event will be marked by the recitations of Gurubani Keertans (Holy Hymns) by the reputed Ragi Jathas (religious preachers), who are being specially invited from various parts of the country to render shabad keertans. Bhai Gagandeep Singhji Khalsa (Ganganagar), Bhai Jasbeer Singhji, (Paonta Sahib, Himachal; Pradesh), Giani Sukhdev Singhji of Amritsar, Bhai Surinder Singhji, Hazuri Ragi Jatha, Bhai
Gurmukh Singhji, Jatha Tera Jatha and other reputed Ragi Jathas will recite shabad keertans and Kathas and throw light on the teachings of Sikh Gurus. After culmination of the congregation Guru Ka Langar (free community kitchen) will be served to the devotees.
