Jerusalem, September 17: About 180,000 people, who observed fast have benefited from the Ramadan Food Assistance Programme launched by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Mohammed Haji Khoury, said the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East was tasked with distributing the Ramadan food parcels to needy families in cities, towns, villages, camps, and centres for the elderly and disabled in Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem.
