KGB gas diverted to Maha due to apathy of state MPs: Devender Goud

TDP senior leader and Rajya Sabha member T. Devender Goud has alleged that the KG Basin gas was shifted to other States due to the criminal negligence of the Congress MPs of the State.

Speaking to the media, Devender Goud said that nobody knows when there will be power supply and when it goes off. Claiming that power cut was being imposed for 10 to 12 hours in the villages, Goud said that the capital city also deprived of power for hours. KG Basin gas was allotted to Maharashtra at the cost of the interests of Andhra Pradesh, he said. “Are the drying crops in the State are not visible to the Centre?” he asked.

The TDP leader demanded that Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy explain as to why two MMSCMD water was allocated to Ratnagiri Gas and Power Plant at Dhabole. He also alleged that the Congress MPs from the State have miserably failed to fetch even a single project to the State during the last eight years.

“The Congress MPs have failed to bring drought relief package, calamity relief assistance, medical seats, national project status to irrigation projects among others”, he bemoaned. He also declared that his party members would stall proceedings in Parliament on the injustices being meted out to the State. Condemning the statement of the Governor that there was no need for freebies, he demanded that the Governor to take back his unwarranted statement.
