The dream project of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to offering free intensive education from KG to PG may not be implemented this academic year and is most likely to begin during 2016-17.
Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari made this comment at Nalgonda during his visit. Srihari, who also holds education department, told media persons that KG to PG scheme may not be implemented during current academic year of 2015-16, as there are challenges with regard to maintaining quality and standards. We are trying to address all the issues by taking suggestions from various quarters in this regard, Srihari said. The government is trying to take all measures to improve educational standards and will take up the scheme by next academic year he said. (NSS)
