Mumbai: Key Indian equity indices opened on a flat note on Wednesday.
Around 9.16 a.m., the wider Nifty50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) inched up by 12.45 points or 0.12 per cent to trade at 10,414.70 points.
The barometer 30-scrip Sensitive index (Sensex) of the BSE, which opened at 33,970.35 points, traded at 33,899.06. points — up 18.81 points or 0.06 per cent from its previous session’s close at 33,880.25 points.
The Sensex has so far touched a high of 33,972.51 points and a low of 33,896.38 points during the intra-day trade.
The BSE market breadth was bullish with 599 advances and 321 declines.
