New Delhi [India] Nov 29: American comedian-actor Kevin Hart is all set to produce a remake of the 2011 South Korean comedy-drama movie ‘Sunny, in collaboration with Universal Pictures.
“Sunny” was one of the biggest blockbusters in 2011 in South Korea. The female-driven comedy-drama movie featured a group of friends meeting after 20 years of their high school when one of them is diagnosed with cancer.
Titled ‘Bye-Bye-Bye’, the screenplay of the movie will be written by Amy Aniobi, while CJ Entertainment will be producing the film in collaboration with Hart’s Hartbeat Productions. Furthermore, head of International at CJ Entertainment, Jerry Ko, will be the executive producer, reported Variety.
This is the second project that Kevin will sign with Universal Pictures in one month. Earlier in October, Universal cast him in Chris Rock’s upcoming movie ‘Co-Parenting’.
Also, the 39-year-old actor will be next seen in the remake of the French movie ‘Les Intouchables’, alongside Bryan Cranston and Nicole Kidman.[source_without_link]ANI[/source_without_link]
