Kesav Dismisses Charge Of Collusion With Congress

TDP senior leader Payyavula Keshav dismissed the charges of the YSR Congress that his party was in collusion with the Congress.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, he said after the YSRCP became leaderless, the party went into self defense mode. He said it was ridiculous to state that his party was moving towards the Congress, as the party was born on anti Congress sentiments. He said the YSRCP was making baseless allegations against the TDP as it was in a state of defenselessness.
Keshav said his party had not started the fight against corruption now and had reminded that even when Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was alive, they were fighting against his corruption. He wondered why the YSR Congress was afraid, when they met the President of India and asked for dismissal of the tainted ministers. He said they had not started their movement against corruption after Jagan’s party was born.
Keshav charged Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy of trying to escape their guilt by throwing the blame on the cabinet. Stating that there were reports that Dhaarmana had misled the cabinet he added that the word “captive” was removed from the mining sanction order with Sabita’s knowledge.
Referring to the allegations that his family members had villas in the dubious Emaar venture, he said they should disclose the names of his relatives. He also said that Dharmana should disclose details of his properties before claiming innocence. He made it clear that they would surely call them tainted ministers. He also said they would not listen to the corrupt ministers if they speak in the Assembly. He said one is jail (YSR) Congress and the other is bail Congress and asserted that they would continue the fight until all of the tainted were removed from the cabinet. He also said they have also been fighting against the Obulapuram mines and would continue to fight. Referring to the demands for bringing a no-confidence motion, he said his party would not listen to the advice of Kadiyam or YSR Congress. He said TDP would take a decision on its own. (NSS)
