Kerala: Cyber Crime Police rules out Question Paper leakage on WhatsApp

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Cyber Crime police had reportedly registered a case over reports of Class 12 Physics Question paper leak on WhatsApp which turned out to be a hoax with Police saying there is “no prima facie evidence” of the question paper leakage pertaining to 21 March exam.

The handwritten question paper images were sent to Thrissur district’s coordinator of the exam who sprung into action and informed K Imbichikoya, Higher Secondary Joint Director and Secretary, Examinations.

Meanwhile, DGP Behara said the investigation into the case will continue.

Kerala Education Minister C Raveendranath had earlier stated there was confirmation of Paper leak in the state assembly on 23 March adding, however, a complaint was registered with the Police to ascertain whether the paper was circulated before or after the examination.

Reports published in Manormanews.com said the question paper was leaked on Whatsapp on Wednesday.

While the Director of Higher Secondary Education K Sudhir Babu has told media that the paper shall be canceled if question Paper leakage is confirmed by the Police.
