Thiruvananthapuram, June 01: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today reserved his comment on the structure of Lokpal Bill saying he will disclose it “when the Centre asks” for his suggestion.
“I have a definite suggestion about it. But I will disclose the same when the Centre seeks it,” Chandy said at a ”meet the press” programme held at the press club here, when asked about opposition demand to include Prime Minister under the purview of Lokpal Bill.
“What I came to know is that the Centre will seek suggestions on the matter from Chief Ministers. When they ask for it, I will comment on it”, he said.
Chandy said the new UDF government, that took charge on May 18, would come out with an action plan to be taken up in the next 100 days. One of the main agenda was to offer a transparent and corrupt-free administration, he said.
The government wants to create an investor-friendly climate to speed up development process and ensure that welfare programmes reach the targetted people, he said.
A special cabinet meet to be held tomorrow will give a final shape to the action programmes, he added.
