Kejriwal urges people to join hands to fight black money

The Aam Aadmi Party, which is gearing up for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi, on Sunday appealed to the people of the nation to join hands collectively to fight the menace of black money.

“Almost 50 lakhs have been collected in the form of donations…. I appeal to the people of Delhi and the nation that this is their fight and we have to collectively fight together to weed out black money from politics and this is a way out to do and that common man contributes in politics,” party chief Arvind Kejriwal told media persons at a luncheon hosted by the AAP here.

“I appeal to all of you to ask the Congress and the BJP, what is the source of their funds and who their donors are,” he added.

AAP had reportedly collected over Rs. 91 lakhs in Mumbai in its fund-raising effort on Thursday and today’s event in the national capital is the second such event to boost its coffers for the upcoming assembly elections due in Delhi. (ANI)
