Kejriwal recites Hanuman Chalsa, Owaisi to follow, believes Yogi

NEW DELHI: AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi will be the next to recite Hanuman Chalisa after AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday.

Addressing a poll rally in Kirari in northwest Delhi, CM Yogi said, “Abhi toh Kejriwal ji ne Hanuman Chalisa hi padhni shuru ki hai, aap dekhna aage aage hota kya hai, Owaisi bhi ek din Hanuman Chalisa ka paath padhta dikhai dega. (As of now, only Kejriwal has recited Hanuman chalisa. Just wait and watch what happens next. One day Owaisi will also read the holy scripture).”

Earlier, BJP leader Kapil Mishra, despite receiving a warning from the Election Commission for his inflammatory or provocative speeches, took to Twitter on Tuesday and wrote: “Kejriwal has started reading Hanuman Chalisa..Now Owaisi will also start reading it.”

The objectionable comments was in reference to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

During an interview, Kejriwal was asked if he was a Hanuman devotee, the Delhi CM told that he will also recited the ‘Hanuman Chalisa.’

The campaign for the Delhi elections heats up ahead of voting day on February 8.
