Kejriwal not to move into five-bedroom house, requests smaller flat

After criticism from the opposition parties over the allotment of two five-bedroom duplex flats to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP leader has decided that he will not be moving in the flats at Bhagwan Das Road in Delhi.

Kejriwal said that there is a lot of controversy surrounding the new flats that have been allotted to him and has asked for a smaller flat in Delhi after refusing a bungalow. “I appeal to the government to try and find a smaller accomodation for me,” he said.

Clarifying his decision to not move to the new flats, Kejriwal tweeted that his supporters were hurt by the houses identified for him by the Delhi government.
