Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was admitted to a naturopathy institute on Thursday on the outskirts of Bengaluru for a 10-day treatment of his persistent chronic cough problem and other ailments.
He has been advised by the doctors to stay away from his mobile phone.
According to diabetes specialists, uncontrolled blood sugar levels for a longer period of time can lead to serious complications.
Kejriwal would undergo naturopathy regimen that would include detoxification therapy for his cough and different types of “drainage treatments”, a senior doctor said.
About the treatment, Babina, a senior doctor said, “Naturopathy is a drugless form of medicine where it does not apply any kind of medicine. We believe that naturopathy is that accumulation of toxins is the root cause of the diseases.”
